I've read a lot of posts about the Dension Ice>LinkPlus, mostly on pre-MOST bus cars. Does this interface work with the MOST fiber and a CDR23 radio? If I understand the posts correctly, it should because it connects and acts like a CD changer - so you can not use a CD changer and an iPod with the Ice>Link Plus interface, right? I know about the Gateway 500 and it may be overkill for me since I do not have or need a CD changer.

Thanks in advance!

We have been coordinating a large group buy on our site. Email me if interested. This will take the place of the cd changer, and if you have PCM, it will show most of the details in your screen, with toggle-capable features. These units are MOST bus only, and will work with all '03 Porsche models and newer. Non PCM units will be available soon too.

I have just put one of the 2point5 'Spec.Dock' units into my wife's 2000 996 C2 and I must admit it looks way better than having a cradle as the unit replaces the ashtray. I know they also do a unit that interfaces with the later MOST system that you can control the iPod from either the CDR-23 or the PCM, and I think you will find the price very reasonable.

Installation was very straight forward and the post purchase support was great.

Eric, it's me, Scott in Monterey. So the Gateway 500 is only going to be for PCM units? I have a CDR23, no Nav. Can't wait for my Bumperetts, I'll call you tomorrow for the core deposit.

Becker CDR-23, 2003 Boxster

I was able to get the WIRING DIAGRAM for Becker CDR23. Does anyone know how to interpret this? I am pretty sure there is a way to put a bypass switch for iPod.

Hi all, I got an FM transmitter not much bugger that a lighter plug. It has 4 preset FM channels and a mini phone jack, that plugs into my iPOD. It seems to work well, not as well as a direct hookup I’m sure, but it was only $20 at Walgreens in the auto section, and no chopping. :)

It's not much bigger also.
