Camber Question

2002 C4S coupe, USA model, standard suspension, totally stock.

Had an alignment done last week when I had new tires installed. I requested -1.0 degree front camber. When I picked the car up I was told that the most they could get was -0.1 degree per side. Is this typical, or should I try another shop? This shop specializes in exotics, Astin-Martin, Mazeratti etc.

FYI - They were able to get -1.5 degree in the rear.

I think that's fairly typical, as the spec for the front camber is 0°, and you can't get enough adjustment in the slots of the top strut mount to get much more than specified.

I also believe that Porsche recommend that when any alignment checks or adjustments are done, these should be with full tank of petrol.

Ditto on above re suspension height. Just lowered my C4S 1" and camber went from 0 deg ( straight level ) to about 35' neg even though I put the struts back in the same spot. I dont recall that much camber adjustment maybe pls minus 1/8" on the slots.

The toe probably changed big time too.

Yeah, for sure. It also looks like you guys spell Aston Martin and Maserati differently as well!!! :D :D :D

No blame intended, only joking. I confess to looking up the Maserati web site to make sure I was spelling it correctly anyway.

Is it correct about the full tank of gas to ensure correct settings??
