I might have a pair of clear front headlights for sale soon. They were bought for my 996 but look identical to the clears I had on my Boxster before.

I know they are different product codes but will they fit a Boxster.

It would help if they fitted a Boxster as it would open up the potential buyers.

Thanks for any info.

hi Julian,

the "clear headlights" fits on the Boxster /S, w/o any major trouble!

just pull-out the old ones and put the new in and everything should work. the 2003 Boxster comes now standard w/ "clear headlights" and they are from the 996 (pre-facelift).

cheers,

Tony

They will fit on a Boxster. I have 199 996 clear headlights on my Boxster. I assume your light are from a RHD and they are different than a LHD.

The 2003 clear Boxster headlights are not leftover 996 headlights. The Boxster clear has a 986 part number. It is easy to tell the difference b/w the 2003 Boxster clear and the 996 clear.
