Leak from Clutch Reservoir up front. What to do?

Recommended Posts

I have been having this leak for the past 3 months or so. Originally, when it leaked, it leaked what seemed to be mostly above the reservoir, onto the plastics. I had wiped it all up clean, and the reservoir seemed topped up, so i made sure it was just under the full mark.

Since than, i checked it again, and all the plastics are wet again with clutch fluid. It looks like its coming out the cap almost, but i could be mistaken. It still looks to be arund the full mark. I also notice that the vacuum assist is hard in the morning after it sat overnight. It gets assited soonafter startup though, and has always been like this from what i remember.

What could this problem be? Is it something serious, and how can it be fixed? Thanks!..

Please do not double post. You already posted this in the TT section.

The 996 Carrera and TT use a very different clutch hydraulic system. The TT use a separate clutch reservoir while the 996 Carrera shares the brake fluid reservoir. The TT uses Pentosin and the 996 Carrera uses brake fluid.
