Hi Guy's

New to this site so go easy with me :)

I am booked in for a trackday on the 8th @ Bedford autodrome.

With this in mind i thought i would check my levels to see if everything is ok.

When i got to the Brake fluid it was empty  but i have had no warning signs on the dash?

Can anyone shed any light on the situation for me, i.e. what the hell to do?

Car is a 987 S, bought it in July 05 New and already done 29k, love the car and can't stop driving

it hense the miles.

u sure ur chking it correctly? do u have a leak or someting at the wheel? brake fluid should be full or else you'll get soft pedals in addition to warning light. since car is under warranty, i'd have dealer look at it too.

At the "min" level on the reservoir the warning light should be on. Purchase some DOT 4 brake fluid and top up the level if it is indeed low then off to visit the dealer. Best have a look in the manual to see if your looking at things correctly.

Thanks for the reply's guy's

Had it taken to the opc this morning on the back of a truck.

On the brake fluid tank there is a sensor that screws in, it was that that had broken.

opc is sorting it for me now.
