I put Vredestein Wintrak Extremes on my 2001 C4 Cab. Very Pleased. Does daily driver commute round trip to boston all winter and this was a nasty winter. Shoots up pretty steep hill that I live on in heavy snow no sweat. Thinking about putting a plow on it.

Could you shoot a video with your smart phone and show us the front wheel spinning on snow or ice (or anyone else)?

Howdy,

My first post here, have a 2002 C4S - I live in Norway Oslo.

I have had the car since August and I have been exited/nervous for how the car would work under snow/ice conditions because you know, we get a lot of it. I wanted to document this run so we attached a camera on the roof, its under editing now and "might" get posted here, maybe I can throw in the wheels spinning as well at a later point. WARNING: driving a porsche with a camera on the roof can draw A LOT OF ATTENTION! how knew??

I have had a few cars over the years with all wheel drive, but I was not expecting the C4S to perform so....  well not as expected, my super duper high expectations was smashed by the cars inability to perform like my head told it would. AMAZING!  :cursing:

Dont get me wrong, I got up all the hills I wanted (some where close though) but it was the "tests" we performed that did not go so well.

Based on what we saw and experienced I will have a talk to the Chief mechanic at my local p-dealership. I'm not convinced that power is added to the front, even though from reading this thread the results did confirm how ppl are describing the VC and how it works. It could be a sad fact/truth I will have to accept that the car is simply going to be that difficult to get to certain places.  :help:

But in all honesty, I could not care less... Its my first porsche and I'm taping dat azz everyday if you know what I mean
