Ok I did a major fu!&-up :censored: . I was swapping out the dash trim, using the suggestion for an earlier post to use a soldering iron to help remove the screws. I accidentally touched the dash and burned a small hole.

Has anyone ever used any of those vinyl/leather dashboard repair kits? I don’t want to have to replace the whole dash for a small little burn, yet can’t stomach it to leave it there for all to see. HELP

Good news: It's a relatively easy to fix leather. I've done a few times for my friend's Boxster with the kit from http://magicmender.com Very cheap, quality product. Impressive result.

Bad news: No matter how good the kit is, you will not get a perfect match because your leather is not same as original anymore. Try to blend with surrounding area.

Good luck.
