navigation, pcm1 or pcm2, dvd, 987 tail light

ok, so i've read and read and read.. i want navigation in my 2001 986 S but i realize,

a) pcm2 is not allowed; only pcm1

so.. has anyone heard how extensive it would be to retrofit a pcm2 into a 986?

also, anyone seen or done a retrofit of the 987 tail lights on a 986? i really like the red border on top of the clear white light, instead of just clear on top, red on bottom like the newer 986's..

lastly if anyone is using an aftermarket, in-dash navigation, w/ dvd and ipod hookup, please share pictures.. i'd like to see how nicely it integrates.. as most of us would prefer the stock look, right now, i'm going for anything that looks decent!

HI You are lucky in the fact that you can buy any piece of kit from the becker range, I think the 7941 is the best, they are direct replacement and look the same as the original. All have ipod links and play mp3 format discs etc.
