Does anyone here know what makes the Drivers side window automatically go up with 1 touch of the button, Both my windows go down with 1 touch but the Passenger window doesnt have the 1 touch feature to go back up... Is it the switch or the relay that enables the drivers side window to have 1 touch auto up and down?

I'd like to have both windows to have 1 touch roll-up ability. :D

Sometimes mine does this after putting the top up or down. I think the window needs to reset the end/stop positions. I have corrected it by running it though a couple cycles, up and down, holding the button each way. The it gives me the one-touch function back. If this doesn't work, check the relay. I'm not with my book to tell you which one it is at the moment.

SOrry guys, thats not what i mean, My issue is that the Passenger window wont roll UP when 1 touch. The driverside does 1 touch up and down, and the passenger side does 1 touch down but not up.

If the passengerside is also suppose to have 1 touch UP, let me know please.

yes it should have one touch up and down sometimes it does stops working on mine and with the instructions above starts working again

if it still doesn't work after following the instructions then it will be something electrical

Ill try that, I was reading about the adjuster for the window height, Is there an adjuster to get the window to adjust forward and backwards? My passenger window it about 3 millimeters back too far and i have wind noise coming from the sideview mirror meets the glass area.. With the window all the way up, Theres alittle gap at the 3 point where the window meets the edge of the sideview mirror and meets the pillar window seal.

It is the electronics in the control unit. Not the switch, and there is no relay for the windows.

The windows run through the control unit under the driver's seat. This unit is also for the "comfort" features, the alarm, and other stuff.

1997 was the first year. It is an odd year. I have a 1997. You cannot even get a new 1997 remote key to work with a 1998 control unit.

I went through this about 6 years ago with Peter Smith on my car. Too expensive to get the one-touch up on the passenger side.

But I did buy a used 1999 control unit on ebay. One of these days....
