Hi all!!!!

I'm trying (actually planning) to install a rear view camera in my '05 Cay V6. I think a good place would be just below the rear door handle and above the lincense plate frame (the frame would have to be trimmed to fit the camera. I want to route the cable thur the rear door handle (rubber) into the door and then up to the spoiler and down to the rear LH side of the cargo area.

Any ideas on how to remove (access) the rear door linner to get the camera cable routed as described?

Thanks in advance for any clues..........

The camera is the Pioneer ND-BC1. Look around is everywhere....

I will hook it up to the Nav-TV OPV-1C Fiber optic MOST and CAN Plug and play kit. It will display in the PCM screen when the car is in reverse.

I just need some help with the cable routing..................Then I'll report the end results.

Ok well routing the cablibn is quite simple to get to the pcm

remvove the rear carpeted area on the hatch (INSIDE) it should pop off.. gentley pull and look for the caps that unsnap from the body off the door.....then

fish the cable up to the wing of the rear hatch (spolier) there are 3 screws with caps on them gently remove them and remove the wing. fish the cable down the hatch on the left clip you should see where the exisiting cable is routed threw inside the headliner of the cayenne... from thre fish the cabling inside to the middle and back over to either the pass or driver side along the side walls of the floor up under the front seat to the console up the sidewall of the PCM and your set.

GOOD LUCK :)

let me knw your results and total cost

thanks
