Hi:

Sometimes I was wondering if my MY03 C2 has less gas milage than normal. My C2 is about 13 - 14 city and 20 - 21 highway. Odo reading is 17,000 miles. This gas milage sounds right or too low?

Thanks for your input....

Is that your calculated MPG or what the computer says? Don't go by the computer. I would have to try hard to get as low as13 mpg. At worse, I have seen 15.5 or so, but average 20+ and as much as 27 - 28 cruising at 85 highway. Do you use alot of oil?

According to the computer in my car, it's 20-22mpg on average.

I check manually everytime I fill up and my records show lesser figures of 18-19mpg.

On the highway on long trips I've done about 23-24mpg.

I have a tip, so it won't get as good mileage as a manual.

13 to 14 sounds like some hard track driving. Using odometer and gas tank fill numbers (not the dash readout), I get 17-19 city, 20-26 highway. Depends on fun or cruising style driving

At begining, I have tested a tank of gas to see if the computer is OK. Th result is very close, so I haven't bothered to calculate milage based on filling gas. I don't track and drive gentlely (compare to some p-car lover).

I doubt if I drive too less ;)

Thanks
