windows stop, blowing fuses?

About twice a week now I start my car and the windows do not function. I check the fuse and it is fried. I change the fuse and everything is fine. Anyone know why this would happen or do in need to but stock in fuses?

The fuse for the power windows has nothing else in the circuit. This is a new problem for me. Let us know if you figure it out. Jeff

I had a similar experience. about a year ago i would blow fuses every few months for the heated seats. also the illumination bulbs for my instrument cluster were burning out quite often. Hasnt happened since and I never figured out the cause.

I have put in a larger fuse in and it has not blown for three days. I'm going to cross my fingers and hope for the best.

What was the amp rating of the original fuse and what position was it in?

it was a 30 amp. all I had was 20 around the house and blew 20's like howard stern at scores. I but a 30 back in it and it lasted one week and today blew again. I can tell when it blows, I hear the wind blowing in the door because the window does not go back up after I open the door. I'm not sure it has something to do with it? any thoughts tool pants?
