2000 Boxster S org came with factory installed Xenon lights.

One of the headlight was damage and need to be replace, however, the new one seems to be have a light green tint coat on the lens or may be the light bulb itself is green. The old one is more white and clearer than the new one. Could that be different type of xenon light set out there? or mine just old after 6 years? Or buying another new xenon light bulb by itself will fix the problem?

Brand new xenon lights go through a rapid "color shift" period for the first 100 hours in which they will start to put out more white light and turn a little purple in hue. They continue to color shift after that time but it becomes very, very gradual. If they continue to be green however, you might have a defective ballast or defective bulb. I recently did a Philips HID conversion and mine first lit up green, then turned a little yellow and are finally turning more white/purple to match factory xenon lights. - Suneet

Problem solved by changing the light bulb.
