I want to get these tips for my car but don't know if they will fit.  Will they fit a 99 carrera 2?  Thanks so much Loren

Sorry, they won't fit anything older than a MY02. The rear bumper design changed in MY02 and they can use those nice 4 pipe tailpipes... unless of course you install the newer rear bumper ;)

is the rear bumper a direct replacement? I have some scratches on min as it is and I love these tips... maybe i'll just get them for now. This guy is selling them for 150 for the pair. That's a good deal on them right?

Carcraft also has some similar (part number CARP96ER for a MY00 C2). I bought a set (for a small foirtune), had them fitted but hated them so sold them on. Have since fitted a set of stock MY03 4" wide oval flat bottoms to my MY00. Technically they should not have fitted for all the reasons mentioned obove but they did fit and they look great. But I do have a GT3 rear bumper kit and also a Fabspeed muffler to attach to. Maybe this setup has allowed these newer tips to fit.

hey scouser do you have pics of when those tips were on your car? I want to see what they look like on a pre 2002 rear bumper. i have mine sitting here in my bedroom and I'm going to put them on this weekend or maybe next. I want to see if it's worth the time to put them on or if I should just junk them...
