Hi there 1 for loren or any other knowledgeable person. Did i spell that right. I have a 2001 C2 with the 3.6 engine, i have altered some standard silencers putting a larger than the sport exhaust by pass in the same place as the pse but using 1" tube. Was going to play around with the filter but decided against it with all the threads on here about MAF problems. I know the exhaust is just going to sound loud without any real performace gain , but would i benefit from having the managment chipped, reprogrammed or should i just be happy with my lot. Cheers.

No. Don't waste money on the chip until you have done something to truly alter the flow characteristics of the engine. For example, intake, cams, header, and exhaust then you'll need a chip/reprogram.
