996 552 025 01 ETQ is for the the black leather surround that goes over the instruments. It will fit all cars to MY02 (old gauges). If you want one for the newer gauge set then it ends in 02 ETQ.

This is what I am looking for...  MY02

A leather couch? My picture I call the surround. Your picture I call the cap.

You had a picture of a 996 black dash cap with a red surround. Was the dash cap not leather?

Loren has the part numbers. With a 996 you get the surround and the cap together for some reason. On a Boxster you can order them as separate parts.

All this terminology to remember!!!

My current cap is vinyl or something... What year did the have vinyl caps? Anyway, it is not thrilling to say the least. :)

Thanks for the part numbers guys.

Can you give me a link to what a Boxster Red surround looks like. The surround I currently have for my 996 gauges is some sort of faded red. I am not sure if that would be Boxster Red or not.
