Hi all,

I get a light problem on my Boxster 986 ( year 1998 ROW model, manual gear)

Suddenly, I have no lights working on LEFT side only ( no high beam, no low beam, no side marker, no rear side marker also )

fog light works, and turn signal also

Of course, I checked all bulbs and fuses

Any idea or help is welcome

Thanks

Alain

You should probably pull the headlight and re-seat it, making sure the plugs make proper contact. There is a tab on the headlight bracket that is relatively fragile and if it brakes the plug for the lights may no longer make a good connection. In my case I had to reach up through the wheel well (squeezing my hand between the fender and liner) and actually push the plug onto the light a bit.

You were right, it was the electrical connector block behind the headlight unit...

the headlight bracket is now broken, and I have to buy a new one ....

Thanks again

Alain
