How to disassemble the lower slots?

I have the "Technical Manuals" but I couldn't find out HOW to disassemble the lower slots(the CD-Storage & the empty slot on my '99 996C2) underneath the dashboard. I looked thru the TM, but it only show me how to disassemble the dashboard, but no reference to the lower slots!

I am really puzzled....

They simply pull out. If you are referring to the storage units, they may need to be coaxed a bit by pushing the edges of the frame (top/sides) but they will pull straight out. Just don't hit yourself with them when they do!

I have found they often will ease out from one side a bit, then you work the other side, then back, and so forth until you have them out.

Keep pulling.
