I have a 99' C4, and in the car's book I have read that it could be programmed that the doors close at a certain conditions, but my porsche dealer says me that in my car it is not possible.

Can someone help me?

You mean doors lock?

I have a 1997 US Boxster and there was no such feature until model year 1998. From 1998 up the choices are:

1- doors lock when the ignition is switched on.

2- doors lock when the car goes faster than 5 mph.

3- same as 1 but if the door is opened while the engine is running, it relocks at faster than 5 mph.

4- doors do not lock unless you use the switch - only way to lock on a 1997 Boxster.

It is programed with the PST2.

Jeff is correct. This is true for Carrera's also.

As of MY99 (through MY04) those are the 4 options. These settings can only be changed by a shop with a PST2.
