Just got done replacing the airfilter on my Cayenne V6. It is very easy and took me a total of 15 minutes to do. I took a few snapshots of the process. (I KNOW, I KNOW, MY ENGINE BAY IS FILTHY!) 1. First you need to remove the right side engine compartment cover. It is held on by 4-45 degree turn plastic screws. They are easy to remove and also easy to drop down in the engine bay if not careful! Ask me how I know. Once removed, set the cover off to the side. 2. Next you need to r

Have since sold the Pepper but IIRC it was extremely easy to do the cabin filter.

I too appreciate that you took the time to post this helpful thread. I waqs stumped at how to remove the little plastic screws, but your post solved that problem, and probably saved me from screwing up the air filter box, or the connection to the intake.

By the way, if you remember, where is the cabin air filter located. I replaced one in my BMW 7 series and it was ridiculously difficult to get at, and to remove. (Maybe that's why it appeared the first owner had never changed it, and it was almost completely stopping the air flow from the heat/AC unit)
