loren/tool pants/izzy/ anybody! :(

my 99 C4 tip has an annoying habit of bogging (refusing) to rev beyond 2000rpm either after a hard run or after a hour of being used. depressing the gas pedal only exaggerates the bogging. after letting the car sit for 15-20 mins it requires 5 or more tries to start, and prolonged ones at that before it catches and finally starts. But once it does start, it drives like a dream. aside from the hassle, the sheer embarassment of being the center of attention with such fine piece of machinery refusing to start is worse. the car has only run 14000 kilometers. i suspect lack of fuel (relay?pump?) i have replaced the fuel filter and drained the tank 1week ago in suspect of bad fuel. your help will be much appreciated.

Before you shut down, let it sit for 60 seconds or so at normal idle. This seems to have cured a similar problem for me (and is recommended in the Manual).

is ur car a turbo? i do belive that is a must to cool down the turbo/s by letting the oil circulate after a hard run. as my car is not i think is just a waste of gas. thanks for ur reply.
