Hi everyone,

post-9235-1154381324_thumb.jpg

I tried to open the top and the lid didn´t close completely(see attachment), any ideas?

What I´ve tried already is:

..find a similar problem here on the forum :)

..opening and closing the engine compartment, then trying again

..door and switch inside opening/closing the top, same..

..applying the handbrake, I get the light on the dashboard - switch works

It is hard to tell from the picture, but is the trim piece coming off the lid?

If the top closes without problem, then you can narrow down to the lid-

1. Is there anything preventing the top from fully folding, any "stuff" on the ledge that will take space?

i am no expert. this is what i think:

the problem is the boot cover. i checked mine this monring, it seems there are some arms to pull the cover back once the roof is completely folded. i think you should try:

1. visually inspect to see if there are anything in the way.

2. open the top, see if the cover can go back to its org. position when roof is up, if yes, maybe it's the sensor problem the cover can't "feel" the roof is closed already.

again, i am no expert, just guessing.

Thank you guys for your answers.

The lid doesn´t close completely... ( but it closes when the top is up )

I´ve had a very good look at the rods etc. attached to the lid and everything seems to be ok. So my guess

there´s either some fault code preventing this or a sensor.

I took it to the dealer this morning and I have to wait for a few weeks :cursing:

Well I nudged a few things, tapped all the moving parts and voila it worked. :clapping:

So it´s a love and hate relationship... I´ve had some of the silliest problems with my

car, always works out fine B)

Thanks
