I recently became an owner of my very first Porsche (2000 Boxster S). For the most part it's in a great condition, I got it off coparts and wasn't sure what to expect, but very mechanically sound. I have been experiencing some minor issues across the board and looking for any information to help me. Starting off with the easy stuff, there's a crack in the coolant reservoir, I've already bought a replacement, missing driver side mirror, and passenger brake light is out. The issues that I still haven't figured out, the biggest one being a potentially bad cluster, all fuses and relays seem in good condition. On my cluster I have no odometer/speedometer/tachometer, I do have fuel and coolant levels. I've deduced the cluster itself is bad and bought a replacement. I intend to pull the programming from the current one and reprogram the new one. My biggest question here is which eprom device do I need to be able to do that? Assuming that cluster replacement fixes that issue, my next issue is a potentially dead climate control unit. I have no power/ electronics going to the unit, and the fans/blowers do not work. So open to any and all suggestions on that issue. Lastly my spoiler is stuck retracted, again all fuses and relays seem to be in good condition, which leads me to believe this is just the spoiler motor. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions or anything to help get this beautiful Porsche back to 100%. Thanks Everyone!

Yesterday my car went haywire. Windows went down, alarm went off, horn blew, locks wouldn't work, dash lights came on with the key but nothing else. I could here the box under the seat clicking and when I investigated the floor under the seat was full of water. I recently had the car painted and it looks like its is now leaking. First, I need any hints I can get on most likely spots to check for a leak. Second, what is the box under the driver's seat. I though it was the ECU, but after a quick internet search is appears the ECU is inside the firewall. HELP!
