I bought some new headlights for my Porsche Cayenne turbo 2003, because the old ones were really yellow and scratched up. the headlight I bought is called Headlights set daylight LED TFL look Porsche Cayenne 03-07 black. Free shipping for many products! the instructions that came with the light told me to remove the old motor in the old headlights and put them in the new ones. but what i noticed is that the wiring on the old one has 5 pins and the new one only has 3 pins/wires Another thing is on the back side of the old headlight there are 12 pins I think where you plug them into the car. But on the new one, 2 pins are missing. And when I put everything back together the only thing that will turn on is the low beam. the new headlight included light bulbs for the low beam but not for the high beam so I also had to buy new ones for that because the lightbulbs in the old one didn't fit in the new headlight. and the turn signal won't work. -
Hi all, I've seen older posts on the this topic and only recently have repaired mine on my 03 Cayenne S. The sound indicators in the car began to weaken and then finally stopped altogether. I have driven it almost a year without the sound. I've found a company that actually sells the same speaker for replacement, so no soldering in a new speaker that may or may not fit. It's plug and play. They sell just the speaker, or the full kit (with tools). Worked GREAT. Here's their site: http://www.motolegends.us/instrument-cluster-speaker-repair---complete-kit.html The official Porsche instructions for removing the cluster aren't quite complete - these guys have a guide with photos that walk you though the removal. Seems a bit daunting at first because you have to remove some trim and move some dash pieces out of the way, but if you take your time and don't break anything it was quite easy.
