  1. In very rough numbers, Porsche makes about 20,000 Boxsters per year and about >80% come out of Finland.
  2. RMS? Rear main seal? Could be.
  3. Gator, did they do an oil change at the 15K service? Maybe they did not torque the oil drain plug properly or get the oil filter seal seated right. You need to get under the car and see where the oil is coming from. Maybe you drove over one of the greasy donuts! :P
  4. You can see the 2 gauges that Porsche offers in this link: http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/merchant..._Code=987wheels
  5. I use the digital ones that you can buy from the auto parts store. I think they are about $12. They also sell some at the Porsche parts department. Try www.suncoastporsche.com.
  6. Ivass, have you looked in the Panarama Porsche magazine. I remember seeing ads there for shipping companies. Not sure about international, though.
  7. $399 at www.suncoastporsche.com Check our sponsor Sunset Porsche too, they usually have better pricing.
  8. David, I would not worry about those 2 options. Should not be a deal breaker. IMHO, I think those two options are some of the most "worthless" ones offered. But, then again, I don't drive in the rain, and very little at night.
  9. I have had engine block heaters on my Ford Explorers with excellant results. Nice to go out to your truck, on the driveway, turn the key, and get immediate heat on a -15 degree day! They usually insert into a "freeze plug" on the block. Sounds like Porsche makes it much more difficult.
  10. Be careful about using any engine additives that are not Porsche approved.
  11. With profits like that, Porsche can buy everyone a new RMS, or an engine for the IMS folks, and still have money left over and a great financial year!
  12. Maybe you can clip off a small piece of the leather from under the seat? And then compare. I know home furniture has this, maybe our cars do too. What about a high quality digital photo?
  13. Shroom, you can always purchase a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche using your Vin#. Go to the Porsche web-site for more info.
  14. mccswift, are you sure you are in R and not in first? This has happened to me before. :o
  15. Stupid question here: What's a "TSB?" "Trouble Shooting Board?" Am I close, and how can I find these P-TSBs? Thanks Loren! You can gain access to the TSB section when you become a Contributing Member, with a donation. TSB= Technical Service Bulletin
  16. I know must people here are not huge fans of the front strut brace, but possibly this could help to eliminate some of your rattles. Just a thought.
  17. "NOT to mention, trying to sell it after all those mods." Excellent point, Mark!
  18. Skandalis447, ya gotta luv the fact that PCCB have minimal brake dust! Go for it!
  19. We only have one rear fog light. Two rear fog lights are called "brake lights"! :P
  20. Andymac, be careful with the oil, it will attract dirt and could make matters worse.
  21. Rhregis, IMHO you are going about this all wrong! You don't need a more quite tire, you most definetly need a louder exhaust! Change your thinking, man! :D
  22. 500, using 100% white terry cloth towels will serve you better. Only use these towels for windows. And don't use fabric any softener when washing your towels...any car towels actually. A great window washing liquid is 1 part denatured alcohol to 2 parts distilled water. Put in a spray bottle. Spray onto a towel, wash the glass, and then buff/polish dry with another towel. Work in the shade when the glass is cool.
