  1. You know, lots of times the radio code is written on the sticker under the front hood.
  2. Yes, I would do the clutch while the engine is out. Have them check the RMS too. May want to do you 60K early too.
  3. Could anyone run an Autocheck report for me if I provide the Vin#. I want to compare results against a CarFax report. Thanks. Please send me a PM. :)
  4. p0rsch3, ask the dealership if you can provide the pump. Then, buy it from Sunset and give to the dealership. This might save you a little. Good luck!
  5. You can now buy the RS60 exhaust tips at www.suncoastporsche.com.
  6. The Boxster sales brochure also has this info in the back few pages.
  7. dalwood, I would also strongly recommend heated seats. Depending on were you live, this greatly extends the top-down driving season, and your passanger (wife) will also like it. I go top-down, with the heater blasting, in 40 degree weather, on the highway. Plenty warm. A hat helps too! :)
  8. Yes, and it is the ONLY Porsche approved 5W50....last I read in Panomara.
  9. It is my understanding that the RS 60 has the Sport Exhaust. Just slightly different than the current PSE. The tips are the biggest difference, IMHO. PSE sounds awesome vs. the OEM exhaust. I also think this is how (in part) the RS 60 gets 8 extra HP over the 2007 and 2008 Boxster S.
  10. Use the 5W50 Porsche approved Mobil 1.
  11. For sure the windstop. The PSE is great. Not cheap.
  12. I am sure many accidents go unreported on a Car Fax. This is NOT my question. What about accidents that DO show up on a Car Fax? Are they ever wrong? Could one accident cause a Car Fax to show multiple events...months later? Thanks.
  13. I need a PPI recommendation for a trusted shop near Carlsbad, CA. Thanks.
  14. Can someone please run a Car Fax report for me? I can PM the Vin # to you. Thanks.
  15. 3ball, yes, but you should at least use 5W40. You need the "40" side for the summer temps.
  16. It is my understanding that the 1996's 993 TT had premature valve guide wear issues. Not so much on the 1997 993 TT.
  17. Thanks, Loren! What would remedy the 4 O2 sensor codes? Is the Fabspeed exhaust causing these fault codes?
  18. What do the following fault codes mean: 1996 Turbo approx. 45,000 miles Fabspeed exhaust Chipped DME/ECU P0236 P0153 P0159 P0133 P0139 THANKS!
  19. I bought my PSE from www.sunsetporsche. I got great pricing from Phil Coy. Great guy. I did not use the wireing harness, since I want the car in "sport" mode at all times. Sounds great. Very happy. I am very confident that my car was the very first 987S done with PSE, through Tequipment, in 2007.
  20. rstmartin, it is NOT just an oil & filter change. If you become a "Contributing Member" you can view the maintenance checklist. Well worth the small investment/donation. The air filter is also replaced, and there are many checks that are performed. Including a fault code read out.
  21. Look at the HHS 2000: http://www.wurthusa.com/project/en/leftnav...ath=09.0100.jpg
