  1. Sometimes the TPMS sensors have corrosion built inside or around the sensor thus making it very difficult to remove or servicing them. Becareful how you handle them. They can be fragile since they are made out of aluminum.
  2. I noticed that too after driving easy for a few hundred miles. I had no oil consumption. I guess it is normal for these turbos to consume so much oil when I drive hard on them.
  3. I will have those procedures done and thank you again for your help.
  4. im not sure if it's the turbo oil seals or the piston rings though.
  5. Thanks guys! great info! I may have some oil seals to be replaced in mine and was wondering where I can have them rebuilt. I have mild smoke on hard acceleration while I'm taking off and noticed some oil residue on my hatch after a few rides. was thinking the turbos and hoping it's not the engine block. I don't hear any engine noises though. just putting two quarts of oil every 600 miles.
  6. I noticed on mine a lot of smoke comes out of the exhaust if I fully accelerate whilst moving. oh and I have to put 2 and a half quarts of oil every 600 miles
  7. What kind of turbo is used in a 05 cayenne?
  8. I guess I have to get used to that lol. Thank you guys :king:
  9. ok but when i press the button on the fob or the switch on the driver door, I cant hear the hatch unlocking or releasing. I also locked the vehicle while I was outside and briefly pressed the hatch button on the key fob, it doesnt do anything. I thought if I pressed that hatch button on the fob, it would unlock so I can open it with the hatch button above the license plate.
  10. I replaced the speaker behind the instrument panel yesterday and works well now thank you. As far as the rear hatch, I did look at some other posts to find out that I can only open it from the outside lol... soo is that hatch release button useless on the driver door? By the way, thank you guys. Very helpful.
  11. I purchased this 05 cayenne turbo a month ago and a few weeks ago I found out I could'nt open the rear hatch with the interior hatch release or from the key fob. It does open from the exterior button and if I press the key fob trunk release for a few seconds, the glass opens. Any ideas? also I have no door chime or turning signal noise.
