  1. Has anyone ever use an XS battery?
  2. not to slip off the topic but I had seen that it was proved to be false. I may be wrong though :0)
  3. I used an Alpine for my setup. I have a garage with years of electronic experience so i had done it myself. It is a very complicated job though, had taken me a few weeks on and off to install it. If I were to do it for a customer I would have charged about $3800. I have an 05 TT. I used the Alpine INE S920HD, NAV TV MOST module, ebay rear view camera, Ebay radio mount(I had to fabricate the mount to make it fit), a few radio shack buttons for the ebrake setup to use the video. This system is compatable with the steering wheel controls but there is no display info on the odometer anymore. I didn't mind it though. I love this system much better than the original head unit.
  4. I noticed the bushings were worn out on mine but the ball joints were ok so I just replaced the bushings. the ball joint does not have to come out to replace the bushings.
  5. also you may have to reprogram the MOST_HUR through your PC via USB. NAV programmed mine before they shipped it out.
  6. thank you very much. ill take another look.
  7. Hi! 2005 cayenne turbo. when I take the traction off and set the shifter to manuel, the shifter will not shift into third gear. it works fine with the steering buttons. I dont have diametric yet to see if i have any codes. I had forgot to mention that when I pulled the wooden center plate off, I caught the side of the shifter plate below the shifter handle and pulled up by accident and noticed a small electronic board under it that I hope I didnt crack. :jump:
  8. I bought one from Vertex and replaced it. Drives like a champ and I'm very happy
  9. theyre right next door to me and I asked if they ballanced those shafts. They said they dont ballance european shafts like mine.
  10. any one know where to get a new, cheaper drive shaft? I replaced the carrier bearing but now it needs to be reballanced and I can't find anyone to ballance the shaft here in Buffalo NY. I may sell after I replace it.
  11. I had the same problem and I had bought two lower control arm bushings from the Net and replaced them myself without removing the ball joint or strut. worked perfect after.
  12. Same thing happened to me a month ago and the vacuum leak was the hose under the torque mount. I epoxied the crack and worked well. 05 cayenne turbo.
  13. do you guys have the timing marks or a blow up view for this motor so I can check it?
  14. Hello everyone. I have an 05 cayenne turbo and my check engine light came on with the code P0016. Has anyone figured this one out yet?
  15. So far so good. I'm liking these yellows.
  16. Has anyone used weather guards or rain guards on their Cayenne? If so, how do you like them?
  17. I usually put a dab of grease on the tip of the sensor then install the cap to keep it from corroding.
  18. When I replaced my secondary converters with bypass pipes, I noticed the exhaust pipe on the right side had a lot more carbon and was darker than the left exhaust pipe coming from the motor. Hmmmm
  19. I found them. thanks guys!! hope these parts work.
  20. I cannot find them in the TSB's. Where are they listed?
  21. I have an 05 CTT. I've notice when I drive at speeds around 50 and higher MPH, I hear a wind noise from my front right door. While that was happening, I had my friend push on the rear upper corner of the window and the draft grew stonger and louder. Is this the outter door seal or the window seal? Has anyone had this issue?
  22. EBC yellow's are for race only right? I was thinking about buying the red for the rear. I wonder if it makes a difference in winter climate since I live in Buffalo NY. I have an 05 CTT.
