  1. They are Victor Equipment. Here is the link http://www.victorequipmentwheels.com/ Look at the "virtual garage" link at the top of the page and you can see the wheels on your car.
  2. 355, I'm sorry to hear what happened. At least it's just a wheel and tire and not a collision. Hopefully you will get her back soon. Merry Christmas to you
  3. Probably your clutch but could be your shift cables. It doesn't sound like you did anything that could have damaged the tranny. How many miles are on your clutch? Depending on how you drive your clutch life can varie dramatically. If you say the "clutch feels different" that is not a good sign (for your clutch.) I would get it towed to your favorite mechanic and get it diagnosed. Let us know what you find out.
  4. Beautiful car :clapping: . One suggestion,,,swap your orange side markers for clear or smoked ones. Super easy to change and will make your new toy look even better. Look on Ebay. I got OEM smoked versions for my 997 for a very good price :D
  5. I guess keeping my car stock is like trying to keep a good bottle of vodka for "special occaisions" I just like to hear what people think. I will do what I want anyway.. There are purists and people who like flat blue turbo's with black wheels :o We all like Porsches so it's all good
  6. That link should work. It works for me
  7. Thanks Mark. You have a valid point. Although I went on to the Tech Art website and this spoiler has been wind tunnel tested... It is truly an aesthetic add on.
  8. Thanks Richard. I would definetly go for the painted even though my car is black. If this was matched with a subtle lip on the stock front bumper (like the one in this picture) I think it it would look nice. Without being OTT... Here is the link for the painted version if you want to pass this along to your nephew... http://www.eagleday.com/po997tastrew.html Merry Christmas and Happy New Year :D Phillip
  9. I saw this TA style spoiler. What do you guys think? Cool? Stupid? You can get a carbon fiber version or one painted to match your color. It does require drilling holes in your decklid.....
  10. My wife is not overly thrilled with me spending more money on a car - she just doesn't get it. Like my wife she probably does consider that a $1800 handbag is a "good investment". My trick is to buy her something nice and then buy toys for my habit. That seems to do the trick.... Good luck and I hope you find an awesome car. You work hard and you deserve it
  11. Thanks Maurice! :D I have a little shimy at 60 mph. Dealer told me that I should get the car aligned when I put on the new wheels. So that's what I will do (but not by the dealer. :P )
  12. Grabe'!
  13. That is very interesting... Thanks for that !
  14. Oh dear... And I thought I was done..... Maybe next year... Wait...Next year is only a couple weeks away right? :P Seriously, that's a lot of coin to drop. But if I do decide to do anything it will only be with a factory Porsche kit. Sorry to be such a dumb American but how does 20mm translate to inches? Thanks for your input!!
  15. 355, True that... But it also make it easier to clean my wheels :D
  16. Awesome! Thanks Hamad!! Sounds like you had a great time. I have to get my butt on the track at the next event at California Speedway. Thanks for the Photos!!!
  17. Glad you like them. No there are no clearence issues. I would still like to have it a bit lower. I wish there was a way to drop it a half inch without making the ride harsh. Any suggestions?
  18. very nice Philip! question, would the cold air intake harm the engine? I am thinking of having one for the sound, do you recommend it? Hamad, No the intake wont harm the engine. Won't void your warranty either. It just bypasses the muffler in your airbox. I diconnected the cable to my PSE so that it's on all the time. That combined with intake...It sounds soooo sweet...... :clapping: .
  19. I went down to the RoseBowl this evening and took these pictures. I thought they came out quite nice. By the way it was 75 degrees today... :D
  20. I know they make a diffuser for the 997 but I don't know about the 996. I'm sure someone does. Google all the sources and give them a call.
