  1. I assume so...I always lock mine while the battery maintainer is connected and have not had a problem yet (i.e. the charge is sufficient....)
  2. Not tyoo sure - I bought mine from their website... Don - I used 35% all aoround thanx to Taxachusetts laws....My friend has 20% in his Range ROver and keeps getting pulled over!
  3. Actually I just got a second chance offer :D Guess the guy who won the auction backed out.....
  4. thanks - I saw the listing on ebay and thanks to my 56K connection I was outbid in the last 3 secs and by the time I refreshed the auction ended!! Wanted the extra feedback :D Is it bad to combine this with the in the car version?? WIll it damage the tranny??
  5. I am interested in this thread too as I would like to hardwire my Ipod in my 03TT...I have PCM II (MOST) and factory CD changer....I know there is no other AUX input but there has to be a way...The FM modulator quality SUX (pardon my French)
  6. I have it and bought it mainly for the cleaner look...CHeck my sig for pics

  8. Anyone have this handy? I owuld like to order itand add it to the in-car version...I checked B&Ms home but nada (only the in car PN 45135)
  9. Also, Kevin - how much was the new piece with the releases and memory seats buttons in it?? I posted in the TT/GT2 forum about wanting to see if I can retrofit memory to my full electric sport seats but no replies :(
  10. Thanx Loren...Do you know if the two (TT vs. GT2) are actually different??
  11. Ok, I have these two part numbers for GT2 brake ducts and just wanted to make sure they are different from their TT counterparts before wasting my money...If you can e-mail me pics (or those diagrams fromthe Porsche parts databse slides) that would be great! The PNs are: 996.341.118.91 and 996.341.117.91 for left and right
  12. As many know, Porsche now offers an 'electrical sports seats' opyion for the 996 (and boxster?)...I had regular sport seats in my TT then bought a set of full electrical ones from a fellow Rennlister. Unfortunately, even though Porsche charges $1220 per seat, these do not include memory seats!!! I wanrted to know if I can retrofit memory part of the regular electric seats, how hard it is and how much am I looking at in parts....My goal for doing this is to be able to have the mirror tilt when in reverse (pass. side) and to save different seat postions for different driving situations (street, highway and drag strip :D). Thanx all fo your input.
