  1. Normal and it all depends on the outside temp. I could drive 800 km and vehicles where I live will all do this.
  2. I would guess that on a right hand drive vehicle the drain would be on the opposite side but should be in the same area as the cabin filter.
  3. Is the engine hood properly closed? The wiper won't operate if it thinks the hood is open. Other then that you might need to connect it to a scan tool and rear out the fault codes.
  4. Clear the codes in the front light control module. Also have a proper charger on the battery system when testing-low battery voltage even after only a few minutes with key on/engine off will cause false fault code and strange electrical operation.
  5. There are two fuel pumps but instead of just replacing parts why not take the time and check for fault codes and MAF sensor/boost data?
  6. It might be normal but any chance you could post a video? Have you checked the fluid level and tire pressure/condition?
  7. I have always rotated front to rear on the same side with no issues on my Cayenne and have benefited from excellent tread life. Be sure to check tire pressures.
  8. Pressure in the cooling system doesn't mean the water pump is working. You really need to verify the main water pump is functioning correctly. Putting the vehicle on an incline, standing it on it's head, revving the clappers off it,flipping down the sun visors or what have you shouldn't be needed to remove the air from a Cayenne V8.
  9. I've not had an issue like this before. Does it lose speed or just disengage like it turned off? Any other odd problems with the vehicle? Any fault codes?
  10. The Cayenne cooling system self bleeds very quickly and I've never had to use a vacuum tool on one yet. I would inspect the main belt driven coolant pump. You can remove the upper small bleed hose from the coolant tank and with the engine running it should displace coolant-rev the engine and should pump even more. I have seen the plastic impellers fail and properly pump coolant through the engine.
  11. Bradbury of Braintree! I've not seen one of those in ages. With no load on the lift inspect all the cable pulleys for wear and play in the axle bushings as it's a common point of wear on these older lifts.
  12. You shouldn't be operating the vehicle with the pump empty. Remove the lower panels, top up the system and with the engine running have someone turn the wheel while you search for the leak. There could be several places it could be leaking and pentosin is very hard on all plastics, rubbers and painted surfaces so be sure to properly clean the area after. CHF 11S or 202 Pentosin are the fluid part numbers.
  13. I've also removed the bumper to access the mount which is easy to do. If your horns haven't failed yet now is the time to replace them with the bumper off.
  14. Instruction on checking and clearing the drains has been covered here many times. Please do a search.
  15. After you cleaning the throttle body reset the adaption value for the throttle body.
  16. There is a similar venting system on the cayenne as the boxster unit but I've never seen a fault with the cayenne systems. It will be interesting to see what the dealer finds.
  17. How do you think working on the brake light affected the front signal light? Do you have after market bulbs? I have seen higher wattage bulbs melt housings. The signal light bulb sockets have been a problem on these models and the part number has been updated. Without seeing the damage to the unit that's the only thing I can suggest at this time.
  18. The axles can stay put, no need to remove them.
  19. Do not disassembly the sensor just spray into the venturi section of the sensor. Spray on the diode will do nothing. I personally think cleaning the unit will not solve any issues and might even cause a fault. If there is a problem with the MAF sensor just replace it.
  20. Invest in a battery maintainer if the vehicle is going to be parked up for more then a few days at a time.
