  1. I think there is a new software version for the transmission for poor shifting, I would also check the driveshaft centre brng for any play.
  2. Can someone tell me why this problem is such a concern. It's only a few kph/mph over the actual speed..... what's the big deal??
  3. I saw a guy just the other day driving a Porsche, no idea who he was but I'll and post a pic if I can. I wonder if he keeps his car clean.......
  4. Could you provide some info about your vehicle. Year/milage/tire make and size/matching manufacturer front and rear? Start with checking the tire pressures.
  5. Are you testing the voltage at the battery or just going by the gauge in the instrument cluster? I would start testing for a weak ground path from the engine to chassis.
  6. It's the brake light switch- just replace the part, it's cheap and only takes a minute to change out.
  7. What's the engine RPM when the A/C is on? You might need to clean the throttle body/idle speed motor.
  8. Check for codes you might have a problem with the steering angle sensor. I assume you checked all the fuses.
  9. The ignition switch can cause odd electrical problems but I've never heard of anything like this before. I assume the battery/charging system is operating correctly. Any signs of water migration/wet carpets?? So is it the relay making the noise or is the spoiler actually moving and causing the noise?
  10. That sounds like a line of BS to me, I know the turbos can use oil but that amount seems like a lot. Never heard that burning oil can reduce emissions.
  11. A trip back to the dealer is in order, the system needs to be scanned using the Porsche tester otherwise it's all just guess work.
  12. Mike M Hello, loads of people left Regina for Calgary but are starting to move back. Nice to meet you. I'll let the thread get back on course.
  13. After the replacement AOS it might take a bit of a drive to burn off the residual oil in the exhaust system.
  14. I'm sure about what your looking with the fuse piece but the horn repair while braking is an easy repair.
  15. Inspect the transaxle mount, they have been known to fail and I believe the part has been updated.
  16. Isn't there an integral cooling fan in the back of the unit?
  17. Most people don't know how to tune/adjust the CIS. I think you'll have more headaches trying to replacing then getting it operating correctly.
  18. Should be coming from both sides. If you turn on the A/C the fans will turn on high speed.
  19. I wouldn't drive the car, get it towed to the nearest repair garage.
  20. Cooling fans are located behind the front radiators which are in each front corner of the car, you should hear/feel them coming on at the same time.
  21. I would think the manufacturer of the camshaft could best answer that question. Have you contacted them? Sorry I can't answer your question.
  22. Tire pressure is correct front and rear?
  23. The plus 4 plugs seem to be a blanket cover type of spark plug. Bosch list them for two or three other heat range applications. I personally wouldn't use them and have a friend who installed them on his '01 boxster with no problems.... or I should say with no problems as of yet.
