  1. Visit Tirerack.com they have loads of info including tire sizing and reviews.
  2. On the 996 there is a coolant passage in the AOS so it could be at fault.
  3. It's often caused by one of the sunroof drains coming adrift. You need to drop the headliner to inspect.
  4. Hopefully you don't have a mechanical fault in the engine. I would try turning the engine over by hand to see how it feels or makes any odd sounds. Always turn the engine in it's normal direction of rotation. DTC 22 can also be caused by a lost signal from the MAF sensor.
  5. It might be possible to source a replacement from your local electronic store, after all it's just a simple speaker.
  6. I'm not sure what that hose is used for. Is it under engine vacuum or a distribution pipe for the secondary air injection? Where do the pipes terminate? Most parts have a part number printed on them so look around carefully for it.
  7. The only thing that seems to effect my Sat radio is trees, it works great in every other circumstance, even inside a steel framed building where other Sat systems have failed. There is no fix that I know of.
  8. I believe it's not a module but a speaker that is integral to the instrument cluster that fails. The speaker is not available separately.
  9. Result. I'm glad you got it sorted. I've had my share of no name parts failing when trying to save a few bucks and buy only OEM when possible.
  10. I think you have a fault with the door latch mechanism.
  11. I have used many of the restoring kits and found 3M to work the best.
  12. I also apply a very small amount of anti-seize to the threads to prevent the valve seizing and tighten them by hand.
  13. Isn't Beck Arnley a supplier of parts? Who actually made the part or country of origin?
  14. Sound like one of the timing chain tensioners is leaking down. It take a sec to recharge with oil when started. Many engines suffer from this and some manufactures consider it normal. If it doesn't become worse I really wouldn't worry about it. The odd time debris internal to the tensioner will cause an issue and it will clear over time.
  15. Interesting that it's the bushings are giving problems, every unit I have replaced it's been the brushes that have worn down. I would still install the new unit as you don't want to overload the fan speed regulator with excessive amps combined with low fan speeds. The regulator is cooled by the fan.
  16. Have you checked under the left seat for water damage? I think the rear control module is mounted there. You'll need to clear the front and rear cowl drains to prevent any future damage.
  17. Out of curiosity, what was the brand name of the new failed sensor?
  18. Gearbox oil leak from shifter shaft? Have you checked all the fluid levels?
  19. Recommended to have the system checked for fault codes.
  20. I think it's for the LED light for the inner door handle.
  21. No issues yet that I'm aware of. There were some failures of the early high pressure pumps but I think they were within a certain VIN range so a limited number of vehicle were affected. The sky isn't falling yet.....
  22. Could be a multiple of things. Have you inspected anything? Have the rear suspension links and engine/gearbox mounts inspected.
  23. The fuel trim values will quickly be altered by driving conditions, if you apply full throttle during the road test it skew readings.... the readings are very dynamic and also take in account your altitude. If it's running well and no faults codes then I would say everything is operating correctly.
  24. Chances are the EVAP control solenoid is failing. Replace it with the updated part. This has been covered on the site a few times.
  25. Glad you got it sorted.
