  1. Carden shaft brngs can be an issue on any vehicle that uses them.
  2. The speedo in my Cayenne matches my GPS spot on.
  3. Did they road force balance the tires? Have you inspected the carden shaft bearing support?
  4. Got the invite from the local dealer last week to stop in and view the new Cayenne, hope to get over there next weekend. Congrats on the new motor. What spec did you order?
  5. I'm not sure what the cooler is made from but chances are it's a composite of plastic tank and aluminium core. I doubt it is repairable and recommend you get a second opinion and if it is the cooler try shopping at a auto wrecker.
  6. I've also had many problems dealing with this company.
  7. I've never done this type of repair and always sent the units out to http://www.paspeedo.com maybe send them your questions.
  8. Sorry but is this a serious question? A hard top was an option for the cabs and I'm not sure about the 'weird bird noises'.
  9. None of them, the best one if the factory unit. I have installed some of the units over the years and think they are all garbage. One customer with a 996 turbo has to have the engine slightly dropped to install his CF air filter housing, if that's not madness I don't know what is.
  10. The odd gear indicator display is to alert you to a gearbox fault, it should clear when you repair the said fault.
  11. You need to inspect that circuit board and that the magnets are in the correct locations.
  12. Your mechanic might have bumped the ribbon cable connector for the sensor which is causing a poor connection. Remove the pan again for inspection.
  13. Does the position of the dimmer switch have any effect on the fault? Has the charging system/battery been tested?
  14. After market something or other, not a factory item.
  15. There might be other consumers on the main fuse that aren't listed or the circuit is split between two fuses. The radio couldn't be easier to remove for fuse access.
  16. Start by cleaning the throttle bodies and reset the throttle plate adaption.
  17. The relay should be a standard DIN relay. Do you have factory foglights on your vehicle?
  18. Where is it located? If you replaced the unit, do you have a part number for it? Any pics?
  19. It's normal. There was a TSB issued to address uneven air flow or something to that effect on the windscreen but the misting still occurs. Every Cayenne I've worked on does this and a few other models also but nothing to the degree that the Cayenne does.
  20. We clean the drains on all vehicles as normal maintenance.
