  1. Yeah it has the memory control box on the seat. I read one of your posts before too, I think it was over on the 986forums. Any information you could send my way would be great. I've even managed to get a hold of the harness from the car itself as well. Did you end wiring up the motors individually, or did you just put power to something on the memory control box?
  2. First let me see, the post before this one by Gator was excellent. It took me well over a week to find it, and was exactly what I was looking for, and it was well explained. I really hope it moves to the DIY forum under mods, because I know others have to be looking for this too. However I'm still at a roadblock. I am currently undertaking the task of swapping Supple Leather Seats from a Boxster into my 996. The passenger seat hooked up fine, but the driver seat has the memory controlled exactly as you describe above. I tried running power to B2 and C1, and Grounding out B1, however I was unsuccessful with getting power to the motors and the switches. I have the wiring diagram from 996TT seats that Loren posted in another thread, and it says that C3 also gets a brown wire, which I suspect is another ground. Grounding C3 out while keeping the others intact still didn't help. I know that C2 is a 12v Switched wire, and that on the diagram it calls for a Black/Orange wire. I had the sport seats before with power recline and up/down, but there was no Black/Orange wire on the stack harness for the 12v switched. I guess my questions are as follows. 1) The Boxster Supple Leather Power Seats have the same memory control module as the 996TT seats, but does that mean they still wire the same way? 2) If they do wire the same way, shouldn't I be able to move the seats regardless of having the 12v Switched hooked up? 3) If the 12v Switched does need to be hooked up, any ideas where I might splice into one, or do I need to run it to the ignition, or fuse box? I suspect I could go read a V1 install since they generally end up in fuses, and run off of 12v Switch, right? 4) If I tear out the rest of my hair due to this crazy seat, does Rogaine really work? I Hope this thread isn't too dead for someone to notice it.
