  1. For what it's worth, I've been using a bicycle lubricant. There are several kinds available, but they are all based on the same principle ... a solvent-based wax suspension that dribbles on like water, but leaves a dust-free wax coating on all moving parts once the solvent evaporates. Seems to work really well.
