  2. P0300: 507 Misfire detection (sum total) Diagnosis conditions • A cycle of 1,000 crankshaft revolutions is evaluated (for misfire damaging to the TWC, 200 crankshaft revolutions). The misfire rates are compared with a threshold value. If the misfire rate is greater than the threshold value, a fault is recorded in the memory. • The Check Engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is switched on and stays on when the misfire rate lies above the threshold value at which the emission limit values are exceeded during two consecutive driving cycles (in the case of EOBD 3 driving cycles). • If the misfire rate may lead to permanent damage to the TWC, the Check Engine MIL flashes. If the misfire rate is no longer reached during the first journey, the MIL goes out. If the rate is reached during the next journey, the MIL flashes. If this misfire rate is subsequently no longer reached, the MIL changes to a continuous light. Possible fault cause ♦ Fault in ignition system ♦ Fault in injection system ♦ Flat-base tappets (valve lift fault) ♦ Mixture too rich ♦ Mixture too lean ♦ Mechanical causes: Valve lifter chattering This is caused by dirt in the valve lifter. When the Check Engine MIL lights up, a chattering valve lifter may also occur for a certain time. The DME control module registers (sporadic) misfiring at one or more cylinders. The mixture adaptation values are normal. I could not find P1319 or P1314???
  3. I also did an aftermarket wastegate mod. (not EVOMS). Actually what you are replacing is the spring. The stock springs just are not capable of holding the higher boost....probably an extra margin of error built in by Porsche. But the stock wastegates leave a lot of power on the table. Again if you tune the car properly, you still can maintain safety for your engine, while getting somewhere around 30-40 hp.
  4. He couldn't tell me when I went out there. He said it is "failing sensor" Unacceptable, especially considering how much you paid for the codes to be read.
  5. This assumes you have not upgraded the poor stock suspension. This is a must. I have been on 19's for over a year...no problems, no measurable change in comfort, if anything, with the lower profile tire, the car handles better.
  6. the recommended tire size is 235/35-19 F and 315/25-19 R...for street you will not notice any handling issues...for track it is recommended to stay with 18's
  7. You know this for a fact? I have seen pictures of the damaged compressor after a dv fell apart and went into the compressor.
  8. Chuck...yeah played nags head yesterday and the pointe tomorrow...no idea what par is as I am never near it, but hitting low 80's...
  9. So how are they the same? They both perform similar duties in that they prevent damage to the the compressor. The BOV exhausts to atmosphere where as the DV recirculates the charge. Bosch programming is not set-up for BOVs (the car will run rich).

  12. good call chuck...I found it quickly, but for some reason I can not paste the link (on the road with a poor internet connection).
  13. ask EVOMS The first ones they made were oiled, but now they are dry and have a "sock" on them. Do a search for issues...I had one and blew several MAFs, so I went to a different intake altogether. Have not blown one MAF since. There are plenty who have not had issues also. Probably an interaction of hp, set-up and environment.
  14. Sorry to inform you, but US DOT does not allow such consumer convenience. You see we might kill ourselves using such a dangerous tool. The cab key for opening the top is just ROW. My advice get the SmartTop, best cab mod you can get. They also carry a RemoteTop. Mods-4-cars
