  1. Good to know. I'll save this info in my DIY file. Thanks for posting.
  2. Good job 'Dharn55' ... Although I have not experienced this problem (yet). I saved your instructions and pixs. You never know. Thanks for taking the time & effort to lend a helping hand. YOU GET THE LOREN AWARD FOR THE MONTH. :clapping:
  3. THANKS LOREN
  4. Is it possible to install a turbo front bumper on my 03 Carrera (NB)? I like the aggressive look and was wondering if there would be any fitment issues. Thanks
  5. I have a 03 Carrera (Narrow Body) I also would like to install OEM front turbo bumper. Question: Will there be a fitment problem for a Narrow Body??
  6. PAC922s ....... In your opinion would the Fabspeed CAI perform as well with the stock air filter insert?
  7. Like RRSPIKEMARTY, I'm also interested in your LED spoiler position setup. Can you provide us with a photo of the switch installed in your dash? Thanks
  8. Thanks for the relies gentlemen. The HR Sport Springs were installed 3 months ago. But I will follow your recommendation and contact HR. Perhaps they can provide a solution. The reason I posted this question was because I was advised by a mechanic at the dealership ... changing the OEM tire setup would negatively affect the car's road compliance. Again, thanks for your advise I'll let you know how I made out........
  9. Recently I installed HR Sport Srings on my 03 911 Carrera. As a result, now the front of the car is 1/2 inch higher than the rear. I'm presently running the OEM tire setup (Frt 225x40x18 -- Rr 285x30x18) QUESTION: Is there any potential road compliance problem if I replaced my front tires witha 225x30 or 35x18 setup Thanks!
  10. IT CAN BE DONE. I INSTALLED A REMOTE START SYSTEM IN MY 03 Z CAR. THE ONLY THING IS ... I HAD TO SECRET A (CHIPPED) KEY IN THE CAR IN PROXIMINTY TO THE IGNITION SWITCH...
  11. Great DIY write-up and comments gentlemen. I wish Loren lived in Georgia ;-)
  12. I just did the same mod. I'm impressed that you were able to operate two separate garage doors though. How did you wire that? Presently I can open/close the door by depressing either end of the switch. Hit me back with a PM if you don't mind.
  13. I've just painted my lip. Use this link http://www.paintscratch.com/ ... they carry exact color match
  14. No! The 997 and 996 side marker lights are not interchangeable
  15. Well, your pcar looks just awesome as-is so I would't sweat it Hey PORSCH3 .... your DIY thread is a gift that's keeps on giving fifteen months later. I'm ordering the same lip from Suncoast Fla. and will be using your gift to complete the install. Thanks! Sam
  16. Gunter .......... Has the vehicle's drop increase since the June install?
