  1. Uhm not working w/ new relay? very weird , rare problem I'd say. If its not the relay,it would have to be the signal problem. Well Speed control is supposed to get a signal to retract from your instrument cluster in auto mode. Obviously u r getting a upper speed signal but not a lower limit speed signal . It's going to take a lot of diggin & wire tracing to do! I see Loren provided a cluster wiring sheet, it is probably 1 of those indicator spoiler retraction wire- Im thinking!
  2. I didn't like em at all, terrible wet traction & loud . I got rid of those i bought Kumho's based on others opinions...let me just say they were crap! total crap. I have had flatspots so bad that they were unsafe to use...400 worth of labor mounting, un mounting and remounting make me really less than happy eith them..and when i called their customert service..they pissed me off so bad i am filing a small claims case against them for my labor i lost super excsta asx
  3. probably not your ignition, pull your high-beam bulbs out to see what happens
  4. thanks JP, its all good yeah I agree , she is looking sharp! Glad I could help. Sorry for not having much time the other day I was at lunch with 2 customers. Car looks great!
  5. LOL, What kinda kumhos? i bought Kumho's based on others opinions...let me just say they were crap! total crap. I have had flatspots so bad that they were unsafe to use...400 worth of labor mounting, un mounting and remounting make me really less than happy eith them..and when i called their customert service..they pissed me off so bad i am filing a small claims case against them for my labor i lost
  6. I got my tail lights in-thanks to JP-S. finished product
  7. the Bridgestone RE960AS rates #2 in its category from TIRERACK customers.
  8. I agree rs! technology has grown so rapidly diff btw products is just splitting hairs. 986- She is loud period with the top on or off which I don't mind it at all. Hey roadster supposed to be. If I want really quiet , I drive my Lexus but handles like a grandma,,,
  9. nice photos to compare TP. I guess technology has developed over the past few years. If u want to make the bulbs brighter consider using these LED's PPL- Direct replacement for 7506 Yes nite shades r hard to find, not many ppl even knows about it. hey Bristol if u r in the US ,let me know ur zip. I can tell u where to buy in your local area.
  10. Since coffeesucker & litq asked about those black tail lights. Why not post a few pix-I thought. Recently I was debating to upgrade my head lights but they were a little too spendy! plus I 've already spent some time modifying it to xenon. So I deambered my clear wanna be headlights,,,since I haven't gotten the tails yet. LOL Oh boi this stuff is hard to get I must have called 20 diff local stores. before after pretty glossy, don't u think? they r about done I think
  11. Yup they have one of the highest noise comfort rating, but $$$- I'm kinda wondering how much those set of Michelin cost u?. Also the gap between the lowest rating & the highest isn't that much anyhow(6.3~6.9 in scale 1~10). So what kind of 18's r u rollin on? I just installed a set of PS2's on my 2003 Boxster S with 18" wheels. They're very very quiet. I put 1,000 miles on them over Thanksgiving weekend.
  12. It isn't easy! good job Bruce. So what was the longest waiting time? LOL
  13. if u got the cash,Michelin PS2's would be the quietest in my opinion(1st in noise, 2nd in overall) Pirelli P-zero is really sticky & quiet too. I had my kumhos for about 20,000 miles , personally think they get louder after 5000k-10,000k miles<- typical feed back. now I got my NEXEN N3000 :D
  14. Uhm not bad,,, but it's not a wide body . what happened to ur clutch job?
  15. Hey Maurice , thought I mentioned it - all it needed was computer to be reseted,,,LOL Update. Well, this should come as no surprise to anyone on this board for any length of time, but...Truer words were never spoken. Approximately four weeks after I had completed the airbag light TSB procedure, I was about to remove the steering wheel again to see if I could isolate the cause of the remaining Fault Code 21 but I decided to reset the airbag light one more time with my Durametric before proceeding. Surprise! Now the light did not come back on immediately, and it has not come back on since. The only thing I can think of is that after the TSB procedure (which involved fixing the grounds and replacing leads causing the seat belt codes as described above), it took a number of cycles for the fix to take effect on that fault code. As Loren said, "fixing the grounds which could cause many other faults" may have been the key. No airbag light on in the dash is quite a relief after more than a year of constant on. Regards, Maurice.
  16. wow 315/25'S? I hope they don't rub & watch out for those potholes! so H&R dropped it about an inch? it shouldnt really matter like john V said but I would get it done after my new wheels r put on. w/ ET45 u probably will be fine on the front. Did u see my topic-set of new wheels came in, there r some discussion goin on related to spacers/longer bolts.
  17. Any time Maurice. Yes u will need to do something like this-
  18. Hey Maurice, if ur car didnt come with it I think wiring needs to be done- I think It's fairly easy ,,,
  19. I need em! FYI... I still have my stock tail lights when I switched to the clear ones if you are interested.
