  1. Any time fan,,, it wouldn't hurt meter those wires with a 12V tester - Violet should come on only with the ignition on & Yellow/WH should come on with the fog swithch on. Good luck!
  2. Yup I'm debating now,,, TA/TK style for $475 or Zender GT3 for $275 pic of Zender GT3
  3. up position is 1 touch but U have to hold the down button until the spoiler comes down all the way. with the ignition on, I would try listen to 2 relays (clicking noise)in the rear trunk while the footwell switch is being activated . Sounds like U have a faulty spoiler motor.
  4. wow $2500 that is really steep+car not running for aweek Every time I wash her, that's also my frequent rain test,,,something everyone should be doing!
  5. I agree with Glyn ,should be fairly easy condensor is held by 2 torx screws on the inbord,,, be sure to get some plastic rivet pins
  6. yup with that much $$ I shouold go with Gemballa?
  7. blistein schocks don't really wear out. These are the items Porsche service dealer hardly ever touch unless they are upgrading. shouldn't be replaced unless they are broken or leaking. but U can always go w/ H&R RSS Club Sport Coil Over KIt with their dynamic damper technology.
  8. If the interior lights hasn't been working , most likely its the module fuse. yes this can be resolved without going to the dealer, they will charge $200? LOL leave the top open torx socket or 10mm - remove 4 seat mounting bolts fold the seat, tilt forward over the steering wheel half turn the module mounting phillip screw/slide it out replace the fuse(needle nose?)
  9. I'm wondering if the interior lights are working? Sounds like you have a blown fuse(15AMP) on your alarm module. I would pull the driver seat out then check ,,,,,try not to disconnect the wire hardness.
  10. the easiest way would be sell your passport then get the Escort Solo S2 Cordless. You can afford your new 997 I'm sure,,,,, Just hot wire needs go through the fuse link not the ground,it doesn't matter which side
  11. i think those LEDS gonna be off a bit, super xenon bulbis rated at 4100K temperature but LEDs may not even be 3000K? let us know how they work out. I'd like to see azzaro's pic to see how they are matching?
  12. good choice, azzaro. i have the exactly same ones. Whats the point of deambering everything if your bulb still glows in amber? haha mine aren't LEDs, everyone should go with somethin like these
  13. here is a dealer maintenance sheet oil change, oil filter is not required, pollen filter change, check/replace air filter if necessary,,,,,,,,
  14. OK guys, this should be very easy & simple Since U wanted to add a switch in a swiched circuit ,all you have to do is by-pass(throw 1more toggle) the switched leg 1.pull SI A7 25AMP fuse out 2.diassemble/remove light switch assembly 3.run a pair of BLK/RED 16 AWG wires from new switch location 4.locate NSE contact(switch assembly), tap/splice BLK wire with VIOLET factory wire - this will be the ignition switched primary power source 5.locate N contact, there should be a YELLOW/WHITE factory wire needs to be disengaged from the switch assembly + tap/splice RED wire with YE/WH factory wire - this is the switched leg feeding 2 front fogs 6.mount new switch tapped with BLK/RED wire 7.finished
  15. I kinda like those TA styles better I think,,, LL techs carbon fiber front bumper is the best one I've seen so far ,,,
  16. you can get a super - white zenon wanna be bulb to match your HID I have em in my side marker.
  17. not under the dash, check the small/blue fuse(15AMP?) on your alarm module,,, hopefully that's whats wrong other wise this can be very frustrating.
  18. http://www.dietersmotorsports.com/tech/tech9-03-2003.htm
  19. prolly wasn't the RCA's especially when they are shielded, proper ground did the trick!
  20. kinda a lot of work&parts? what's the mileage on her?
