  1. Usually its the wire hardness. many cases, cam position sensor is shorted with ground or shorted with B+? U will need a OHM meter to ring em out. new hardness might just take care of it
  2. installer probably blew the alarm fuse by poking around,,, It is extremely difficult to intergrate 2 systems on a 986. but it can be done! but really comlicated. Installer will need to eliminate some of a few factory circuits, easiest way would be cap off central locking actuator, re utilize with your Clifford. for 2 doors monitoring, he can tap it with the interior dome switch circuit, as well as your front & rear trunk - all it needs is a + signal to your new system.
  3. hit the LCD panel a couple of times , she will come back,,,
  4. Scooter I know we are talking rite now on my MSN,,,but overflow will prooly go away USAF U might want to read this too, go disconnect 2 wires at the botton of the tank that way we can by-pass the sensor. either 2 wires are shorted(wet) or faulty sensor. When U take those 2 wires apart, I bet flashing light will go away,,, by the way USAF here it is
  5. http://www.dietersmotorsports.com/tech/tech9-03-2003.htm[/url]
  6. 158F is for the purge fan. middle is around 175F will usually trigger the coolant temp sensor? Curious, should the fan be always on after warm up? middle is around 175F and is on above 158F.
  7. D2R, 35Watts, 3200lm, 4300K They should burn pretty cool. I don't know how the D2R base is fittted over our H7 base ? hope isn't too difficult to adjust the cut off level
  8. That's what it looks like, oil fill pipe. AOS is going bad?
  9. Tighten the filter housing to 25 Nm (18 Ft/Lbs). Replace the crush washer on the drain plug. Reinstall the drain plug and tighten it to 48 Nm (35 Ft/Lbs). For your fuel filter - remove the protective panel, remove the brackets for the pipes,,
  10. maybe spare key is still in sleeping mode?
  11. Pride 1000? I've never even heard of it,,, I would flush the whole thing?
  12. 2000 & earlier models whould have more problem . A larger rear bearing, plus a wider and more effective oil seal was first fitted in 2001,,,I believe. But, " But introduced in the 2001, on engines in order to reduce noise, this later shaft also has a toothed wheel to take a similarly toothed drive chain, whereas the earlier type had double chain sprockets, which of course means that this later shaft will also not be compatible with the integral chainwheel on the earlier crankshafts"?
  13. Have to? HAHA . I'm not even gonna touch that thing,,, majority wiring is going to be done around the headlight switching area, using my own method.
  14. take the black plate out! are the wires even connected to those relay holes? have u looked Yep... I tried that... It's literally like "putting a square peg in a round hole" ;) Doesn't fit.
  15. Have U tried to put it in the hole itself on that black plate? like I said earlier , U need to pull 1 of those relays & see Yours should be the same way
  16. Take a loo at that black piece,,,black plate is the base where relay plugs into. see if U can see the female/male pins under the black plastic piece(fixed),or just floating in there. in that case u will need to modify those 2pins.
  17. first , need to know what kindofhead unit U are equipped with. something like this becker IPOD interface should work
  18. Yup it is pretty cheap. U prolly can get it at Ebay Yes I'll writer up something, if I do it. I'm still debating
  19. Are U refering to those white covers? if U are , not supposed to touch it. Your 2nd question would be the answer Pull the relay out to acess .
  20. Autozone, unless got your own tool.
