  1. or water in the engine,,, U could've had a bad level sensor, by- pass 2 sensor wires & see that will make your flashing go away!
  2. since your central locking & interior lights are working, assuming the box is fine. I'm thinking either its your key or the module,,, most likely needs to be re-programmed
  3. 225/40/18, Yes they are wide enough for me :D Wow thats wide, esp up front! What size tire do you have up front? Are they wide enough to balance out the insane UNDERsteer you should have with those rears?
  4. Yes that's what caused it... Autozone will be able to reset it for U Loren would be able to replace the buckle, Before I removed the seat I had to unplug the electric clip that controls the seat, could that have anything to do with it?
  5. As mikefocke mentioned once before,,, There is a UK company that could replace with 05 997 larger bearing, larger effective seal. http://www.autofarm.co.uk/engines/water_cooled/shaft_tech TP, can the bearing be removed from the case and shaft from behind that cover? Thanks. Usually there is a lot more damage than just the bearing (a whole lot more). I was wondering if it could be replaced before failure. According to Tool Pants, guess not. Thanks.
  6. It is an easy DIY, takes about 1 HR. MP3 compatible unit has been around & old story now. Mine supports MP4,USB,SD card,DVD,DiVX,,,
  7. Any time! outboard is your AC & inboard is your coolant radiator,,, expained above already.
  8. if they are 5-130 bolt pattern they will fit fine, worst case U might need some spacers.
  9. need to check the linkage cable, often times cable has a enough slack to chatter. might be able to fix it by zipping it with a wire tie
  10. Very Nice! Cassie The best garage hack I've seen by far,,, not changing the battery is awsome but more advantage is being able to control multiple doors(security gates) + even my porch lights,,,
  11. you disconnect the AC radiators. These are held in place by two torx screws on the inboard. . . . . . and by a slot on the outboard. After removing the two inboard screws, carefully slide the radiator inboard. Be careful with the aluminum tubing, which is connected to some hefty rubber hoses. Make sure the rubber bends, not the aluminum! Pics from realtime.net
  12. Anytime & thanks for the compliment. yes, but I ended up drilling 2 holes on the rubber plug. I spliced some existing speaker wires so they didn't have to go through the hole. There are 2 sheet metal brackets(angled) on the back side, then they were secured with a couple of 1/4" bolt & nuts.
  13. 97-99 manual tranny was almost idenical to the Audi A4's. But the factory LSD wasn't availble, however GL-4 oils are for transmissions that contain brass or bronze parts. GL5 oils differ from the GL4 oils in the EP additive. The most known EP additive is a phosphorous-sulfur compound that is corrosive to brass at the concentration used in a GL-5 oil,,, There are GL4 ratings out there like Pentosin ATF we used on a few older jettas & Amsoil Synthetic API GL4 75W-90 would be my choice.
  14. That would be my RF 8" sub check this out,,, http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...c=17505&hl=
  15. RF's will drop in with a bit of epoxy to secure. 1 pair-dash(factory grill), 2 pairs-rear
  16. updated 4 terminal brake switch is 99661311302 I believe. Pull yours out take a good look at it,might be able to fix it easily.
