  1. Aileen said she would crawl back there this time. I just spoke to her on her cell phone. Bring some grease and the foam stuff. **** no kidding;) OK we'll let her at it hehe.. :drive:
  2. I could use a brake flush or oil change but the main thing would be just to come and hang out.. I'm leaving the sound deadening at home this time (that stuff is too much of a PIA hehe). I'll get the oil filter, o-ring etc.. from Porsche (Steven's Creak) on Friday or something. PS Kirby see ya' tomorrow afternoon for that garage thingy. I told you that Carlson was like "What the heck do you need that for, a garage door mod?"
  3. Thanks Loren, I figured it should be tigher (weighs 3290 hehe). I'll try the second tightest...
  4. Heya Loren/folks, I have GT3 sways (front and rear) with PSS9s (man they have ****ty detense) and when Loren and I put in the new curved drop links we placed the front one in the middle of the five holes. The rear has four and I'm not sure what the factory setting is for it? TIA PS Tip of the day, when you are alone and doing an exhaust change but need an extra pair of hands to hold up on side of an exhaust whilst you work on another, try using a jack stand. I did but only after I got bonked in the head...
  5. Hehe just like I did when leaving your place:)
  6. I'm not sure it's doable but if you figure out it is, I have a stock Turbo wing/decklid that I'd sell... I do remember someone (Loren?) saying that on non Turbo cars the position of the motor and internals is positioned differently and actually gets in the way of hyrdualics.
  7. Thanks guys... I got the bumper off (watch out for the hidden screw behind/inside the inner fender) and slapped on the GT2 one and it fits great. Now it just needs a paint:)
  8. ROFL what sticker:) the one on my CF one:)?
  9. Heya guys, Anyone remember the paint code number for Porsche Black (not basalt) for a 2001 Turbo? TIA!
  10. Yes by using Motec:) But other than that neither GIAC, Protomotive, Upsolute etc... have managed to do that. There's a guy up here (CJV) that's attempting to have it done but it's going to be a challenge.
  11. That's really odd. I have the same wing (CF) and mine did come with the harness which nulled the hydraulics. I would call Mike and ask him to send you one or indeed just try Loren's solution because that sounds like it would do the job. All you want to do is to "fool" it into thinking the wing is down. If you're good with wires, hacking etc... you can actually do it without a harness. I know that David(V) in Virginia with the black 01 TT did exactly that.
  12. I go through tires like hot dinners on my car and to be frank they are perhaps only better than the stock P Zeros, although it's a close one for grip even if they do last a bit longer. The S03s fit your car so those are the tires I would use. They have great grip, last a good while and are pretty decent in the rain too...
  13. **** that was fun! Great place/host and just good to be with fellow Porsche-nuts! Kirby that turn signal mod rocks, I was signalling all over the place, not that any of these San Jose drivers would notice since they haven't yet discovered the art of using a turn signal:( Jeff, I can now leave my car for days and not worry about being locked out of the hood to charge my battery:) Of course now I know how to steal head lights:( **** it's easy!
  14. Blast.. my CEL comes on (then I reset it) with both the 1130 and 1128 codes:( I've got straight pipes with 100 cell cats (from Fabspeed), a BMC air filter, a slightly dremmeled airbox and modified turbos etc...
