  1. As colder the tyres are, as much this phenomenon is present. Its called "Ackerman effect" and related to the front wheel geometry, nothing to worry about.
  2. I would go with a trickle charger, the difference in electronic equipment which consume current with the car placed indoors and closed, between a 930 and 987 is too big to take as a standard. Battery's have a two years warranty here, perhaps you have still warranty.
  3. If you use a vacuum cleaner ( on a new car or a complete cleaned car ) every two weeks, it takes 5 minutes of your time after all, you can go for 80.000 Km or more and be sure that condenser and radiator life increase with approx. 50%.
  4. You can give it a try RF5BPilot, but i'm not convinced about the result, it will turn out with a replacement IMHO. Success anyway.
  5. You have to open the engine completely to change the shaft, the actual factory rebuild engines have already the approx. same update.
  6. Agree with RF5BPilot.
  7. Looks like there is a possibility to have water infiltration in the room between the wheel and the hub, but not to escape. There is a lot of rust present, not that normal.
  8. Strange that the print of the back side of the wheel is not visible on the bolt holes on the hub ( connect points ) but nearby. Sure that nothing is wrong with the wheels or potentially with the spacers if you use them? I would clean the hub, disc and axle end with rust remover and steel brush and than apply a small amount of grease on them.
  9. You can activate or deactivate the sport mode when driving without problems.
  10. The clam shell is just bolt on the hinges, adjustment is needed when reinstalling.
  11. What do you mean with clutch fork pin? I suppose the axle, if it is the case and the bearing with the hole in the middle is placed as it should ( the side where the rubber plug is ), than weld a bolt on the axle, through the axle and pull out. Renew the axle and the bearing.
  12. Sorry, i never did it, i can't response.
  13. Coolant level too low, fill up til maximum ( with cold engine ) and do a test drive, if the warning returns after a couple of days, check for leaks.
  14. The difference in clusters is: <2005 = gateway build in cluster 2005> gateway apart, i.o.w. a 2003 cluster don't work in a 2006 and vise versa.
  15. 986 and 986S tips are interchangeable if the exhaust is stock, available in stainless steel and chrome.
  16. There's in the front part of the inner wheel well, near the side marker a small ( approx. 4 mm diameter ) black plastic insert. Remove the insert and push with a small screwdriver the lock spring of the marker backwards ( in the direction of the front of the car ) while pulling the marker out of the fender. 997 and 987.
  17. I don't know what the required max. height is but you should have a fault code if the spoiler don't reach the max. height IMHO.
  18. CosmosC4S If the tyres dimensions are not within the specifications ( bigger or smaller in total wheel diameter ) you will change the end reduction of the gearbox, which is not programmed in that range, engine RPM/speed of the car/distance traveled, the gearbox refuse to change gear or gear change comes too early. The communication gearbox/control box is disturbs.
  19. There is no need to remove the front bumper on NON Turbo Cayenne, remove the screws on the front side of the inner wheel well and pull backwards. The horns are located in the rooms in front of the inner wheel well left and right side of the car.
  20. Connector actuator bank 1 ( driver side ) is located on the engine bloc at cyl. # 3 in the gearbox area. Connector actuator bank 2 ( pass. side ) is located on the engine bloc at cyl. # 4 rear side of the car - exhaust area.
  21. Sorry, the answer is specific for 987/997 cars, you are on the wrong forum.
  22. You mean the Isofix bar on the seat? The inclination of the back rest is limited, by a small bolt, if the bar is installed. Perhaps the installer did something wrong.
  23. The Porsche CTEK is only available with a cigarette lighter connector, the devise is the same.
  24. There is no need to play with the trunk wiring to install a cruise control, must be a accidence. Go back to the dealer.
  25. A repeating of the "vehicle handover" with the PIWIS can help you out, visit a good dealer to do the job.
