  1. Have you checked all the PCM related fuses? In the back of the PCM and in the left fuse holder (foot well)?
  2. Whether or not the presence of the wiring depends on the car options (ROW), OEM is recommended cause the presence of a additional optic cable system and PIWIS diagnostic/program tool needed for the CD reader announcement to the system.
  3. I would check the booster and the one way valve on the entry of the booster to be sure, as "slbates" suggest. I have a question regard the super charged engine, which i'm not experienced with, if the engine is equipped with a separate vacuum pump (on the camshaft) there should be no problem, pump>booster is a separate circuit. If it is a earlier atmospheric engine, the intake produce the vacuum needed for the booster to work as it should, what have you done to switch the system from vacuum (atmo.) to pressure (charger). Most part of non atmospheric engines use separate vacuum pump, electric/hydraulic booster system, reverse acting booster, etc. Is there nothing wrong with? If not ignore this, as said, i have no experience with chargers on Porsche flat six engines, i try only to help.
  4. Only Cayenne with NAVI DVD reader (under the passenger seat) are able to play AUDIO CD in the PCM SLEEVE with reasonable result. The PCM SLEEVE in the Cayenne with the older NAVI CD system, are in fact specific build for NAVI use only, not for AUDIO. It will work in most cases but it's a disaster, a CD loader/reader in the back is the best solution.
  5. Cayenne MY <06 are differend than MY >08 regarding light control and many more.
  6. I understand you have already removed and installed the metal inner door panel, in this case, don't close the door and ask for factory instructions regard the door lock handling (VW is the same). There is a risk that the door can not be opened any more, inside and outside, very important to know.
  7. If the car is a coupe and the issue appears only by standstill (not when driving), the window motor unit should be the culprit in most cases.
  8. Electric window motors have no two windings, ground and power are switched by the control box or switch, depending the system.
  9. Remove only the bolts (and use the holes) which are approx. on the same height of the actuators you want to lubricate, and use a spray aerosol with a long extension tube on the nozzle, so you can reach as close as possible the actuators. Removal and reinstalling of the black metal cover is not that easy, especially when not absolutely necessary.
  10. Nothing is impossible, but the cost will be much, i'm relatively sure about that.
  11. Please use the search button on top of the page "Replace spark plugs"
  12. The air flow is weak in the back with the standard A/C unit, a double unit (option) is the only solution for a good result.
  13. There are 4 pumps (2 small and 2 big) to replace in case the door falls downwards by himself. The pumps are located left and right under the roof rear trim, watch your fingers, the door is very heavy with the pumps removed, you need a helper or a pillar to keep the door up.
  14. The outside temp. sensor, build in the right air duct of the front bumper, could be the culprit. Take a look if the sensor is still in place, he can lie against the hot radiator or a short circuit in the wiring. This can happen mostly by a bumper replacement. The actual temp. values are readable also with a diagnostic tool.
  15. WP0 (zero)=sports cars WP1= Cayenne.
  16. My07 use still PCM 2.1 as far as i can remember.
  17. The stored fault codes in the system can give the needed info in which direction the issue should be sought, check the codes first!
  18. A small question, are the new rotors installed as they should, left/right? If you take a look on the first pic., the OEM rotor pattern (holes) is drilled for a right hand rotor, the pattern of the new one in contrary is milled in the opposite direction, for a left hand rotor. I have no experience with that kind of rotors, but it looks strange to me.
  19. Leaking motor mount perhaps?
  20. "Finding the radio serial number" use the SEARCH button on top of the page please. :thankyou:
  21. The AOS Boxster/Carrera is different (Carrera is partial water heated) the replacement procedure also, from more difficult (manual gearbox) to much more difficult (Tiptronic).
  22. I would take a look to the filler cap first, the pics are not very clear, but the tank filler neck and cap bottom side looks contaminated with dried coolant.
  23. This phenomenon appears: 1) faulty heat element seat (interruption/burned resistor wiring) 2) faulty heat element backrest (idem) 3) faulty relay Check in this order.
  24. Coils are engine MY related not DME. The main difference is the coil pipe design, old type till MY 02 (engines with PLASTIC spark plug tubes), new type from MY 03 (engines with STEEL spark plug tubes). It's possible to separate the coil body from the pipe and change them.
