  1. Adding a piece of foam behind the back center is not possible, they have a plastic back side which is fit just in the seat back. Perhaps between the leather/textile trim and the plastic back side? Take the top of the center and pull upwards while pulling in the direction of the steering wheel, the fixation hooks are fragile, they are breakable as glass.
  2. Are you sure that the seats are exactly the same, electric adjustable - electric adjustable with memory and/without lumbar or standard with electric adjustable back ?
  3. 5,5mm wrench, torx have not mm indication.
  4. The door lock cylinder mechanical extension is not engaged in the door lock. You forgot to test the door lock manually after reinstalling the lock with the new bow den cable. I hope that you can still open the door with the remote in one or other way. If not call your dealer. Success.
  5. That is the new one Tool Pants, you can see the smaller diameter on the insert #5 at the end of the tool, to keep the plastic ring in possition and to lead/guide the seal in a correct way to the crankshaft.
  6. This rule obtains for all Porsches, the pivot possition point of the parabola/lens is the culprit.
  7. Do you have a RHD or a LHD car? The blower is located under the trim passenger side ( right side for LHD cars ) under/behind the glove box extremely right. The trim and blower removal is easy.
  8. Do a search, the door trim removal should by discussed in the past.
  9. The lower adjuster is only raise and lower, the upper adjuster is left and right but at the same time up and down. For example, the head light is too much to the right - turn the upper adjuster till the headlight is in the perfect left/right possition, but the light is too high now - adjust with the lower adjuster the head light downwards till the perfect up/down possition. Repeat if necessary.
  10. The code is on the sticker, inside of the front hood or in the service manual.
  11. Only the front springs have the same characteristics. 987 S front without PASM 27N/mm stabiliser bar: 24,0 x 3,8mm rear without PASM 33N/mm stabiliser bar: 19,6 x 2,6mm 987 C S front without PASM 27N/mm stabiliser bar: 24,5 x 3,8mm rear without PASM 40N/mm stabiliser bar: 19,0 x 2,7mm Hope it help.
  12. When you put the air condition on ECON, you shut off the air con. compressor. It means that the air con. is off but all other functions stays working, trey with refilling the system in a workshop and do a search for a leak. If the buzzing is still there it could be a compressor issue. The compressor is not the hot water pump that Dennis talked about.
  13. If you got a pic. of the inside black tool, complete with the bolts, i will tell you. It is too difficult to explain in English for me. The black tool have a smaller diameter at the lower end for approx. 5mm than the upper end to keep the green plastic ring in place.
  14. A good chance that the connector between the outside handle and the door lock is coming loose, if not you have to change the lock. Remove the door trim and give a look.
  15. Blower motor replacement time: 1 ( one ) hour !!! Most difficult point: find a 5,5mm key. Regards.
  16. A full tank is required for the alignment.
  17. por911, it is the last version of the tool you have.
  18. An alignment is recommended after suspension work, you can go directly after the shock installation. Don't forget filling up the fuel tank.
  19. It is mostly bad contact between the connector pins, you can always start with that.
  20. Some tiptronic's have a bold in the center of the flange, you have to remove the bolt first in this case.
  21. You can bend the male connector pins a little, to have a better contact in the female connector.
  22. All engines going flat out before they leave the engine factory to test on HP. The engines who leaves the factory, inclusive the factory rebuild, have the HP as announced or more never less.
  23. Approx. 1h30 each side.
  24. This is the right rear side of the car i presume, probably a cracked oil filling pipe.
  25. There are mostly 3 possibility's for buzzing noises on Cayenne 1 - the blower located under the trim passenger side ( right side ) 2 - PCM disc drive faulty 3 - Electric hot water pump to let the heater work for a short time when the engine not running, ignition on. located in the left front wheel well against the door hinges
