  1. There are new design inner and outer seals available since several months now.
  2. Did a check on a 2008 Cayenne today: no longer tyre dimensions in the menu. Looks like the last generation have no compensation anymore.
  3. Is it a ROW car without transformations ? If yes, check or let check the day driving lights program to start with, afterwards the grounding and the power supply ( voltage ) of the headlights.
  4. Looked today on a 08 997 GT2 - no tyre dimensions in the coding, on Cayenne 06 still tyre dimensions in the coding. It looks a question for the Harmann-Becker boys.
  5. arshadi What do you expect from PAG? Your dealer should send on line a vehicle analysis taken by PIWIS, every electronic intervention on the DME is showed, if the showed situation is doubtful they will ask for shipping the DME. Warranty, nope, in my opinion.
  6. T.P There was an item in the previous PIWIS software PCM-Navi. coding" tyre dimensions" I think it's gone now, my guess is that the standard tyre dimension be valid for the PCM distance counter. I will take a look later on this week if the "tyre dimensions" still exist.
  7. The PCM 1 code is wrong or the unit is already replaced, sometimes you have to push in the navi. code after the PCM 1 code, sometimes not it depends what is happen before. In case the PCM unit is replaced i will hope that the tech. pushed in the new codes in the DME section as info, so that the dealer can pick up the codes.
  8. ROW Boxsters clear front and rear lights > 03, litronic or not.
  9. What about the safety hook? Is it possible that the lock was closed with a screwdriver, in this case the safety hook and the light don't work, thus no warning.
  10. It is a typical ZF tiptronic phenomenon, something with the lock-up program, nothing to worry about never got a mechanical problem with this. It is allied with the driving style.
  11. Airbag deactivation bar is for 986 - 996.
  12. Alex OK, check PM.
  13. alex Are you sure that the gearbox is leaking at the rear side? This is uncommon. Arrow 2 is a paper seal ( special paper ) that you can create by your self if not available, some older mechanics and classic car enthusiast can do that easily. Arrow 1 are snap rings not seals.
  14. # 02 could be replaced by # 03, a phone call to the dealer's parts div. will bring result.
  15. Disable the carguard and try again if you cant find fault codes.
  16. Cayman ( 987 C ) is the same as Boxster ( 987 ), the wheels will fit.
  17. 987 - 997 passenger airbag can only disabled ( without fault codes ) with the optional lock/key system. It is possible to install this system, but not cheap.
  18. Read the post by khoov 54 "fueling problems at the pump" perhaps your problem is the same.
  19. catgo Start with the rear ones ( the long types ) they are a lot more fragile than the front ones.
  20. Going back to the dealer is the best you can do in my opinion.
  21. Try to fill the tank with the filling handle in horizontal possition, the handle turned to the rear of the car self-evident.
  22. The dealer can check with the PIWIS tester, in the menu "wake up guardian", which control box refuse to get a sleep or wake up after a well defined time.
  23. How do you know that the alarm is not armed ? Or is it the central locking system that refuse to work when using the remote control ?
  24. Control arms is the right word.
  25. Euro-norm 3 = only 1 sensor before cat. Euro-norm 4 = 1 sensor before cat. and 1 sensor behind cat. The secondary sensor is active and trows fault codes. ROW DME is programmed to use 98 RON fuel ( 95 RON is the lowest quality available and already less powerful by intervene knock sensor on full acceleration )
