  1. As mentioned, the park brake light is on? If yes check the fuses to be sure, but most frequently issue is the top latch switch.
  2. No problems, water go's beside the fuel tank straight downwards, try it out.

  4. Are there no fault codes in the DME concerning timing/camshaft possition?
  5. There is no cel or tiptr. fault codes? ( Let ) Check for codes and values to start with.
  6. It is normal that the damper rod turns round when you tight the nut, use a allen key to block the rod. And no, there is no damage.
  7. Push the accelerator or deeper or quicker or both.
  8. The last generation ( 987 - 997 and Cayenne ) standard spark plugs are OK for 90.000 Km or 4 years, please give me a good reason to change with iridium ones.
  9. The cable coming from the electric motor to the latch is probably broken, if you can hear the motor noise. Use the emergency cable in the rear left wheel well near the bumper to open the trunk. Do a search, it happens regularly.
  10. 987 go's electronic, you are on the wrong forum i presume.
  11. The black colored oil is coming from the clutch disc friction material, which means there is ( was ) too much slip. Give it a try with fresh ATF and keep the tip. replacement for later on.
  12. Give it a try with a new or another latch switch, it's not that expensive.
  13. Engine oil, grease, petroleum jelly is all fine, no problem with that.
  14. 997 remotes are reprogrammable, you need E-pass, PIWIS and all the car keys you have. This is a dealer job.
  15. You have to remove: steering wheel airbag steering wheel trim airbag central sensor Now you got access to the stalk ( all other stalks can stay in place )
  16. As mentioned in my earlier post, ( let ) find out why the clutch is damaged.
  17. ATF level check at 40° C. max. Tiptronic oil temperature !!!
  18. Look in the nav.menu if NAVI-FIX is ON, if it is change to NAVI-FIX OFF and go back to FACTORY SETTINGS. If the problem persist a visit to the dealer is recommended.
  19. Keep it simple and switch the right low beam with the left high beam, if the result is inverse replace both bulbs.
  20. Looks like a blocked compressor, a trip to dealer or AC specialist is a must to replace the compressor, examination why he is blocked, cleaning the AC system, changing the dryer, inspect where the leak is and repair, replace the poly V belt and filling up the system.
  21. You can order new leather, if the seat frame, heater element and foam is still in a good condition.
  22. The dryer is located beside the battery, it's an easy change.
  23. one on the left and one on the right front, just in front of the cooling water radiators.
  24. There is no need to replace the evaporator when no leaks are detected, you have to remove the entire dashboard to change the evaporator. It is recommended to change the dryer-receiver at the same time with the condenser(s).
  25. Remove the rear bumper shell, the light alloy bumper and the secondary heat shield. The exhaust heat shield is bold on the exhaust, look what's happen, could be loose bolds or rusty shield. To replace the shield you have to remove the exhaust, which is not difficult, and you got better access to the turbo shields.
