  1. As long the secondary air pump runs, the PSE is louder ( more an other sound )
  2. LSD: lift the rear of car - gearbox in neutral - turn one rear wheel in the driving direction - the opposite wheel will turn in the same direction. NON LSD: the opposite wheel will turn in the other direction.
  3. Comfort comes back when the car is standstill ( P ) / ignition key out / ignition key in / ignition on.
  4. There is a treat somewhere on this board concerning the top switch.
  5. There was no recall in Europe ( other frequency than US )
  6. It is definitely not normal they have to check it out what's wrong, but the V6 sound is a lot harder and rougher than the V8 in your car.
  7. Over here the remote is not available separately, he comes with a blank or cut by order with the VIN. If the car is one of the first year, you need a two button system. I'm not a Ebay lover, but this is personally. Note all the problems and let check the car thoroughly.
  8. It is the ABS hydraulic unit, if the fluid comes out on the body part and not the lines connectors, a replacement is needed. It is dangerous to drive with, keep the fluid level always on top and drive to the dealer or better use a flat bed trailer.
  9. 97boxstered engine is a V6, not a V8 Turbo. Complete different engine.
  10. I'ts rather the remote which forget his roller code immediately IMHO, what doe's the second key ( remote )?
  11. The electronic is a single piece construction with the column.
  12. Your post makes more than sense ADias.
  13. If the hand brake warning light is on, the fuses and the relays in good shape, than is the top switch the next to check.
  14. Since when use Porsche run-flat tyres? Anyway, V profile tyres are too noisy IMHO.
  15. First of all the dealership can read out the fault codes with the PIWIS tester, there is a program to enter in to the system without the key in the ignition switch and ignition on. Most probably causes are: Faulty steering wheel electronics ( complete steering column ), Kessy control box, " ignition switch " and initialising the key gives ones in a while such a symptom. The tiptronic gear change lever can easily unlocked manually, i don't understand why a dealership slide a car with a locked transmission in Park on a flat bed truck, such a mistake can destroy the transmission. Hope the best for you.
  16. Probably there are different issues, let the car check on fault codes and program.
  17. A new remote is all you need. The dealer can do the program.
  18. Go visit the dealer and let them check the alarm siren.
  19. Take a look, after removing the trim, to the park brake lever mechanism ( pedal ). There is a damper installed who's leaking and helps no longer the pedal in his stroke to come back fully, the brake switch is than not fully depressed. Unfortunately the damper is not available separately, perhaps some specialised shops can help you out.
  20. Sounds like a loose or broken selector cable to me.
  21. The face lift 997 is equipped with a Direct Fuel Injection unit, it is possible that the X 51 power kit is something for later on.
  22. Your car needs a PIWIS tester to read out some control boxes fault memories.
  23. Which head shield? If you mean the inside insulated hood, 2005 and later V 8 Cayenne's have no longer insulation, V 6 never had.
  24. Have the new bulb the same VOLT and WATT ? ( 12V - 21W ) It is uncommon that rear fog lamp bulbs go's out in this short period of time, check the connector and the wiring as well.
  25. Take a look a little lower at post "997 Carrera 4 interior noise" rear side window.
