  1. I would give it a try with a new BROWN colored brake light switch.
  2. If the fan issue persist, it is appropriate to repeat the DME service action with the latest PIWIS up date, in the low speed mode.
  3. The window mechanism (cable issue) is broken, replacing is the only choice.
  4. You need the complete stalk unit to fix the problem.
  5. Check the wiring's under the driver seat precious for damage to start with, if you cant find any damage let the car check with reference to the comfort functions.
  6. MY 01 Turbo, cabrio or coupe ? Memory seats or not ?
  7. Yes you can, E-Gas engines have only one electric connector on the throttle body and no cable. ROW 3.2 litre engines are E-Gas.
  8. The glass/lens unit pulls out separately, do it with a small flat screwdriver on both sides. Behind the lens you find two screws, holding the console to the roof.
  9. The problem is, if you change the camber, the rest of the alignment changes too, they are related.
  10. Using the correct and approved spark plugs is the best way to go IMHO, and what with a possible cylinder liner damage as Topless stated. :o. I hope the best.
  11. If the connectors in the A-pillars are corrosion free, the window motor/control box unit in the relevant door, is the most plausible cause. Do yourself a favor, save money and time, and (let) read out the control box with a descent diagnostic tool.
  12. This is discussed here a couple of times before, do a search for more detailed info. It's a normal phenomenon in colder outside temps. called "Ackerman effect" and has to with the geometry, nothing to worry about.
  13. It is not possible to turn off the passenger airbag, in a safe and legal way, without the bar under the seat.
  14. The complete procedure, which is not explainable in two words without doing something wrong, should be in the car's manual, or in TB's on this site for contributing members.
  15. Electrical disturbances, alternator and/or bad battery's can give odd things on cars, Cayenne's in particular.
  16. I don't think that they are going to say it's normal, the engine sounds like a concrete mixer driven by an old diesel motor. Hope the best for you next Monday and rapport back please.
  17. Remove the light unit first, there are two screws behind.
  18. Noise 1: see post 3. Noise 2: could be the water pump.
  19. Belt buckle internal fail ? ( warning system thinks that the belt has been clicked in ) // ignition switch OK ? // wiring + connectors + ground ? Success.
  20. The most common causes are: ball joints in lower control arms // sway bar rubbers // struts upper mounts. You can "feel" the squeal, if you grab with your hand the relevant points, and a helper push up and down the front of the car while parked.
  21. It is possible with the PIWIS tester, to read out the received temp.value, coming from the sensor in the DME. Perhaps Durametric can do the same thing?
  22. There is a post somewhere in the Cayenne forum by member gunzie, i cant find it for the moment, who have had probably the same symptoms as your car, please do a search.
  23. C.Plavan, no you cant, the car's system receive two different signals and got confused. Let the dealer change the blade.
  24. Or the bulb starts to fail (HID).
  25. Beating with a hammer (hard metal) on the control arm or hub (light alloy) is not a good idea  use a ball joint separator, they are made for this.
